Hi, I have been working for the past two years as a core developer on hive. I worked on a lot of things last year some which went live in hard fork 25 already or will go live soon with hard fork 26. This was actually inspired by a post you made recently about 5G technology and it's health effects, so maybe you'll be interested. In the post I use a mathematical description of long range effects like radio signals to show the subtleties of the relationship between power usage, radiation exposure, and number of antennas in a system. I think it might be informative to people, and worth a read. I keep it simple with an idealized model, and try to avoid lengthy formulae. I think the results might interest you, even if you decide not to promote it. Go check it out and let me know what you think in a memo. You can send me as many as you like, I don't mind. I too use java and these days I'm working on an application frontend, in large part for the fun of it but with the goal of eventually releasing it open source. My purpose with this memo is to ask you, if you don't mind, to help me track down an elusive error that I'm encountering while sending a vote transaction JSON to a remote Steem node. Message @fulltimegeek, he is the only one I know who works in pure Java and has made some tools, I don't know if they are public though.

It probably sounds like that because I'm not :) I'm not using JS or python; I'm using java. I couldn't find any maintained java frameworks, so I'm writing whatever I need. If you know of one, that would be valuable information for me. I'm currently not on Discord, but this might be what gives for me to finally sign up. Do you use IRC at all? I've been present there on occasion.

I don't think I had tried another node with this specific error actually. In any case, it returns an identical error. I guess I'm going to be sifting through the source code for a while to find my mess up. Thanks for the timely engagement and the suggestion, even if it didn't get me any results. I'm a bit stingy with my witness votes (I don't want to be an uninformed voter if I can help it) but I'd say you've gone above and beyond to earn my vote. Hi @themarkymark. Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could help me out a bit with an error I'm encountering while trying to use your public node to broadcast a vote transaction. To my knowledge the json is formatted correctly and contains a valid signature, but I get an error response. I'd normally be able to work this out quickly on my own, but unfortunately the error only returns the lowest level of the stack trace, and therefore is rather abiguous. Specifically I'm getting a code 7 bad_cast_exception, "Invalid cast from ${type} to array". I will be searching through the source code to pin it down, but you could possibly help me to do so much faster. If you've encountered such an error and know it's cause, or can somehow yeild a more descriptive stack trace it would be much appreciated, and I'm willing to coordinate in any way necessary. On a related note, though I'm fairly certain of my formatting the majority of my research sources are pretty dated. If it isn't too much trouble, could you copy a simple upvote json that got validated successfully so I can get a certainly fresh and up to date template? That would be absolutely phenomenal. I know you have no incentive to assist me, but you would be helping an active community member and create a new @themarkymark zealot in the process!
